"If your dog likes that kind of thing, it works GREAT! Especially for puppies. However, one of my dogs is a "food" dog and the other is a "praise" dog. In fact, the "food" dog was scared to death of the clicker. We had to hide them from her. We didn't take our dogs to training until they were 1 year old. Had we taken them to puppy kindergarten and all of that first, the clicker might have been a good idea."
